About This Pipe
At over six inches in total length and a chamber that approaches two inches in depth, I'm reminded of a joke that this classic English Bulldog shape in the Baronet Bruyere series really should be called a Mastiff. It is quite a large composition but holds true to the sharply-defined Bulldog qualities. It feels natural in hand, with a textured finish accomplished by the dimpled rustication technique, dressed in a solid black stain. A perfectly squared shank and saddle stem work together to create a piece that is a reminder of a most admired shape favored in the past which is still going strong today.
