Smooth Bent Sitter (3) Tobacco Pipe

Springing upwards from the surface from which it sits, the shape explodes with energy, the side panels accentuating that upward movement. The gentle curvature of the stem, which itself seems to reach upwards, reinforces that sense of upward thrust.

The grain on the sides of the bowl is fairly good, but it's best on the front and, especially, the rim, which is covered in dense birdseye, perfectly highlighted by the orange/black contrast stain.
