Sandblasted Calabash (Lion) Tobacco Pipe

Though of a fairly symmetrical nature, this Lasse Calabash is of an unmistakably organic theme. The flowing, continuous curve of the shank, transition, and bowl, soft roundness of the cross-section, and of course the prominent mushroom cap of the smooth-topped rim, readily lend the entire design to images of something you might find growing out of the landscapes of a Lewis Carroll story. This is actually a good deal more flourish than we usually see in a Lasse briar of this relatively modest scale, such shaping elements more often being reserved for larger designs - bet we'll most certainly not complain of it.
