Smooth Acorn (DE) Tobacco Pipe

The variety of design to be found in Tsuge's Ikebana line is impressive, ranging from wild bamboo-and-briar, very Japanese reinterpretations of the old Tyrolean pipe, to classic Danish shapes rendered in the sleek and simple style of Lars Ivarsson. (Kazuhiro Fukuda, the senior artisan at the Ikebana workshop, studied under both Sixten and Lars.) This flame-grained bent Acorn design obviously falls into the more traditional end of things, presenting a handy, rather sturdily-proportioned, albeit also artfully rendered Danish-school beauty.
