Established in 1895 by Julius Caeser Newman, the J.C. Newman Cigar Company stands as America’s oldest family-owned producer of premium cigars. Spanning four generations and more than a century of continuous operation, the company has earned a global reputation for meticulous craftsmanship and enduring quality. Today, J.C. Newman is based in its historic El Reloj factory, a 114-year-old landmark in Tampa’s Ybor City National Historic Landmark District, where premium cigars are still made using a combination of traditional hand-rolling techniques and restored, hand-operated antique cigar machines.
