Welcome back to another episode of the Mystery Tobacco Review! For this month's installment, we were honored to welcome another new guest Inquisitor: Mr. Mike Murphy, host of the Pipe & Tamper podcast. For those of you who don't follow his podcast (and you should!), Mike is a devout lover of English blends, particularly C&D's Sunset Harbor Flake, so right off the bat, we knew they were likely up against a Latakia blend. But which one? Tune in as Shane, Truett, and I smoke through a bowl of Mike's chosen mixture and attempt to guess its components, manufacturer, and blend name. Did we get it right? What is The Mystery Tobacco Review?
For those of you unfamiliar with this little game, each month one member of our team selects a tobacco for us to review in a blind taste-test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious mixture's components, origins, and name. There's only one rule: There are no rules.
