About This Pipe

This pipe made for the Owl Shop looks like it was made by Sasieni, but we're definitely not certain of that. The Owl Shop in New Haven, CT, a block from Yale's campus, was one of the country's best tobacconists in the 1960s and 1970s. Unfortunately, it's not all that impressive today, seeming to focus more on chess sets than pipes (I was totally bummed when I visited; I do grant that was about eight years ago, so it may have improved again since). The pipe is well made and sports some nice cross grain on the bowl.
