Castello Trademark Billiard (15) (KKK) Tobacco Pipe

Diamonds are well revered for their ability to capture light and surrounding color, and refract/reflect the same back to the amazed observer. Though I didn't know it, until I held this older, US production Castello Trademark with swirled, dark raspberry bit, but apparently crimped aluminum can as well! For about two seconds after I picked up this pipe I was mystified; "OK, the "famous" Castello ruby/sapphire?!" If it makes you feel any better, then next ten seconds were spent stooge-slapping myself, for being on such auto-pilot. While this Trademark is quite satisfactory in size and shape, the grain is pretty much carried by a decent patch of cross cut on the fore of the bowl.
