About This Pipe
For one of the first times in my existence, I find myself thinking "Thank God for rustication!". Aside from a text-book perfect execution of the Castello 54 bent bulldog shape, this unsmoked pipe boasts a grain that would (would) have probably placed it in the Castello KKKK Grade range, until that nagging smidge of rustication on the underside of the shank and portion of the heel came along. Maybe it's just me, but the rustication (when you even notice it) looks quite fine within the composition, and I sure prefer the Trademark price.
