Radice Rind Single Bore Lovat (G) (Replacement Tenon) Tobacco Pipe

This big-bowled neoclassical lovat has, even for its size, one cavernous chamber. We can't be certain if this was reamed to this size or if it was original, although given that most Radice's I've seen have noticeably thicker walls, I'd guess it was reamed. I wouldn't worry about the briar's integrity, however, as the chamber appears to have undergone a slight compression - meaning it has been smoked hot enough for the chamber's bore to have shifted slightly in proportions, and done so without any charring or other damage, but this might also be the result of hand-shaping. Given that, and the impressive breadth of the chamber, this would make a good workhorse briar for someone who enjoys a big smoke with a mellower flavor.
