About This Pipe
This Lovat design is pretty unmistakably "Castello", if you know what I mean. The long, gently tapered shank, the small, compact saddle stem, the high-rimmed, deep-chambered, bold-heeled bowl; it's a design simply loaded with Castello shaping cues. Fitting enough, then, that this example should arrive to us in one of their finest grades.
