About This Pipe
The Blowfish isn't exactly the first shape we associate with the Italian school, yet nonetheless Ardor makes plenty of them. This particular example is presented with strongly accentuated, albeit also softly rounded flanks, with the center-line of the briar defined by a broad, concave channel. And while the Blowfish is commonly rendered to display the birdseye of a cross-cut briar, this solid sitter is clearly all about the flame grain.
