About This Pipe

While not the most oft-executed of the Ardor shapes, it has been sighted enough that I have come to think of it as one of the "Ardor signatures". If memory serves, it first appeared in Damiano's personal line and while I have never seen it assigned a formal name, the subtle concavity of the front panel being opposed by the round of the back of the bowl, give the shape a nice sense of mezza-luna (half moon). I have seen it executed in the Mecurio, Venere and (of course) the world famous Urano. This is the first time that I have seen it in Giove finish and I think it looks terrific.
