About This Pipe
In some ways, the base form of this vibrant Ardor bent egg reminds me of the Northern Italian interpretations that were first given life by Caminetto. The overarching composition however, is decidedly more organic and the organicism lies in the bamboo. Not in the simple fact that bamboo is present, but in the interface of that bamboo with the stepped shank that comes off the body. The faux amber bit teams up with the berry of the body and the cream of the ferrule, creating a totality that is darned near irresistible.
