About This Pipe
This trumpeting, flamboyant, even whimsical design by Ardor, despite it's high, broad rim and the long curve which defines the gesture of its form, serves surprisingly well as a "rocker"-type sitter, balancing just behind the transition and keeping the rim poised along the horizontal. Perhaps serving as a softening element to such a bold design, the briar is finished in a rich, warm red rustication, paired to an amber-hued mount and stem.
