About This Pipe
Officially, Castello makes two types of panels; the 15-Q Square Panel (billiard) and the 60 Apple Square Panel. While this shape is neither, it certainly has some hints of paneling going on within the normal rounding that one expects in a billiard. It's almost as if the carver started to commit to an octagonal beveling, backed off, recommitted, backed off (you get the idea). The result is a billiard of a subtle take than the usual Castello presentations. if one can use the word "usual" in conjunction with a Castello briar. This Old Antiquari features a grain that might cause your heart to skip a couple of beats and a weight of only 37 grams.
