About This Pipe
I have become so fond of this Castello shape and have seen it with enough regularity that I am beginning to find it bothersome that there isn't a shape number that one can assign from Castello's established nomenclature. No, having a shape number wouldn't enhance the smoke or aesthetics in any manner, but it would make me sound a bit brighter in conversation. Consider "It'd be pretty hard to deny the elegance of the 18 (whatever)" vs "It'd be pretty hard to deny the elegance of that one Castello shape that is technically a straight saddle billiard, but lacks the company's classic shank taper and has something of a rakish, zulu-like forward cant to the bowl". Hey, I am nothing if not both lazy and shallow.
