About This Pipe
While just my personal observation, unlike some companies when it comes to the employment of sterling, Castello's use is quite sparing (this lovat is only the 15th new Castello of the nearly 500 that we have placed on the site that wears it) and the addition never feels like an afterthought. Castello makes two lovats, the somewhat equivocating 14 (sorry, I just don't like forms that straddle a fence, give me a billiard or give me a lovat, or get out of my way) and the unrepentantly classic 75 lovat (clearly this is the latter). The sterling silver rim guard adds a fine presence without adding a sense of ostentation and looks magnificent next to the obsidian of the Sea Rock Briar finish.
