About This Pipe
Sporting the stain that is usually reserved for the Castello "Castello" grade and up, this lovely trademark features cross grain on the front and back of the bowl and loose birdseye on the sides. The chubby, rounded billiard shape is lovely, especially accompanied as it is by the oval shank. As is Castello's wont, the shank actually grows both vertically (the bottom of the shank and stem lie flat, while the top rises) and horizontally as the shank approaches the bowl. Quintessential Castello shaping!
