About This Pipe
I love the elegant swoop of the back of the bowl, top of the shank that's carried forward by the lovely briar ferrule on this larger Old Antiquari piece. The sandblast is superb, with excellent ring grain marching up the bowl. The blast isn't particularly deep, but the definition is extremely good. I also really like the combination of the smooth rim and briar ferrule stained identically, seeming to encapsulate the black stained sandblasted area.
