About This Pipe
A variation on the classic Castello jutting-heeled, low-slung Pot shape, this "KKKK" number features a squared shank fitted with an army mount and slender push-stem bit. This variation, I suspect, may have been to make the most of the gorgeous flame grain which appears on much of this briar - as stubby as the shank is, it's flat flanks do indeed present that much more grain, and beautifully.
