Pezzo Unico Collection Fiammata Liverpool 150th Anniversary of Italy Pipe (04/150) Tobacco Pipe

As an exceptionally, exceptionally fine example of a special series of 150 briars Castello has made to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, Sykes wanted to do something special for this gracile, elegant, silver-mounted Liverpool featuring a wealth of pebbly birdseye and vibrant, leaping flame grain. In response, Castello put together an extra-special presentation consisting of a solid, high-quality, brass-hinged humidor-style presentation box with a fitted, padded nest for the pipe, and an exterior dressed in a multitude of carefully hand-layed briar tiles. In all, the result is an excellent and unique example of an exclusive breed of presentation sets, such as the Dunill "Battle of Britain", that do not often come around, and are rarely available for long. Though of course, unlike the Dunhill "Battle of Britain" series, this slender Liverpool's presentation is a singular custom creation.
