'Castello' Lovat (G) Tobacco Pipe

Though quite a good-sized take on the Lovat, aside from the rather conspicuous extra height lent to the bowl, the proportions of this Castello piece actually fall more in line with the classical English school, than the more expected Italian neoclassical style (which most Castello designs very much are). The lines, however, are definitely Italian in nature, with a broader, heavier style of curve to the heel and underside, and a smoother, seamless transition, creating a more sculpted, muscular look.
