Natural Vergin Canadian (G) Tobacco Pipe

This Castello Canadian is an example of an interesting way to accentuate the Italian neoclassical style's tendency towards bold heels, in a paradoxically subtle way. Quite simply, we find the short, sloped bit accentuating the long, low shank, which itself draws a strong, straight line through solid lower bowl, terminating at the hard curve of the heel. This is a very different, and much more understated way of approaching this particularly Italian shaping cue, as opposed to say, the broad, jutting type of heel of Castello's own "55" Pot shape, which makes itself noticed primarily by its own sheer mass.
