Sandblasted Cherrywood Tobacco Pipe

Grab a quick gander at the third photo down. Isn't amazing how much cool and intuitive visual impact can be created by small, thoughtful touches? While my next speculation is about as fact-fueled as a typical headline in a supermarket tabloid, I have seen Claudio do a lot of experimentation with the cherrywood shape, and this one is such a knock-out, that I'd be pretty surprised if this particular interpretation didn't wind up becoming his "go-to" for the form. The crosscut on the smooth rim and heel are magnificent, and sandwich a stellar sandblast in between. Bravo, Claudio!
