About This Pipe
Dedicated perfectionist that he is, Claudio Cavicchi does go handing out "C" stamps like candy. That's clear enough when you see the simply exquisite vertical grain wavering in long, lush strokes upon either flank of this sharp and handsome, classic Dublin, and matched by fine, light, yet dense birdseye covering the rim. While many another might have fast-tracked this briar to their highest grade, Claudio is content with a "quite good, but hardly my best" stamping of "CCCC".
