About This Pipe
The quite sturdy proportions of this Group 4 bent Billiard's shank and stem base require a bit of balancing out in profile, and, as it happens, Dunhill does achieve just that by lending the bowl and transition a good bit of forward thrust. The result is a solid, broad-bowled, yet active-looking classic English design. Curiously enough, though we've seen quite a few renditions of the old "02" in Group 4 size, this is the only example I can turn up in archives that sports the classic sterling-silver-and-ebony combination of the iconic Dress finish - a Dunhill original that for generations has defined what we think of as a "dress" style pipe.
