About This Pipe
The Amber Root finish was created by Dunhill in the mid nineties to compete with the high contrast stains that were being offered by Danish pipe makers. The multi-step staining really does an excellent job of maxing out grain, and many a pipe man has taken to it in a big way. Here we see that vibrant stain applied the "elegant by twice" "202" shape in a petite Group "3". Wicked nice.
