Dunhill classifies the 02 shape as simply "bent", but for all intents and purposes the shape's a bent billiard ("billiard" proper is a title granted the 03, and the presence of the 02/03 is simply Dunhill's quaint manner of designating a straight or bent billiard). While Dunhill goes to great pains to differentiate a straight billiard from a panel billiard (shape 24), it feels no such compunction when it comes to creating a separate number to distinguish a panel bent billiard. No sir, thank you very kindly, both forms are simply an 02. Here we have a bent panel billiard, something of a rarity in and of itself, presented in Dunhill's premiere Root Briar finish. While we have had the pleasure of offering the 5202 in the Shell Briar, Amber Root, Dress and Cumberland finishes, this is our very first to have appeared in the Root Briar! Quite the "first", don't you think?
