About This Pipe
For what seems like eons, there was a shape 09 drought in the US. When a Dunhill man's (and woman's) best chance of acquiring a current-era shape lay within the estate market, it's safe to declare a state of paucity. At this year's IPCPR Show in New Orleans, the Dunhill reps said that the 09 was coming back in a big way, and the shape has reappeared with a vengeance. Oddly enough, every 09 canadian that we have received so far (with a 2009 year of production) has sported the 2 saddle bit, this 4209 being a perfect example. Not to quibble, but a canadian with a saddle bit is actually a lumberman. Well, in any event, it's great to see the longer shanked lads of the White Spot back on these shores and I have little doubt that (X)109 briars are sure to follow. In the meantime, you can acquire a lumberman; a shape that theoretically doesn't exist on the Dunhill shape chart!
