About This Pipe
A quick glance is sufficient enough to see why Dunhill chose this handsome Group 4 Dublin for the Amber Root's rich, deep, warm contrast finish; this briar sports some seriously lush, not to mention lively flame grain. It isn't of the rarefied, consistently vertical sort that many favor, and which brings the highest prices, but honestly, that stuff rarely catches my eye or my curiosity half so well as something so full of depth and drama like what we see here.
