Sandblasted Lovat Tobacco Pipe

This lovat is a bit different than most of the English variety, but quite at home in the Danish aesthetic and few are as at home with the classical Danish aesthetic as Former. The bowl's compositional presence winds up being enhanced by pairing it with a slender shank and bit. In fact had this pipe been finished with just about any other bit, or even slightly thicker shank, I would be calling it a billiard. As you can see from Bobby's fine photographs, the density and regularity of this pipe's sandblasted birdseye is positively delightful.
