About This Pipe
I have found my "desert island" bent apple, and wouldn't you know it. it's a Nanna Ivarsson. With this composition, Nanna places a subtly greater emphasis on the spherical element of the bowl, by allowing the underside of the shank to appear to travel further than the top. Normally I don't gush about the grain on a Nanna (it's Nanna, of course it's great). Still.. this grain is flat amazing; dense and almost appearing as if etched on by a laser, this pipe sports the full 360, plus up both sides of the shank.
