About This Pipe

Perhaps my favorite pipe from this latest batch of gorgeous new works from Pete Prevost, this is simply a flawless, elegant, and successful rendition of a rather Danish inspired bent Dublin. In profile it very much reminds me of one of the Nanna Ivarsson designs for Stanwell, especially along the bowl-to-shank transition. Really, there's a whole lot to love here. Its proportions are spot-on, and it's handsomely size, as well, if you ask me. And still the piece is surprisingly light in hand weight. Beautifully stained, beatifully grained, and ferruled with a sliver of boxwood at the shank terminus, I highly recommend not missing out on this one.
