About This Pipe
A tall bent billiard with more than a hint of brandy to its heavy bottom-end, the Peterson Pipe of the Year (2009 edition) is very natural in hand, assisted not only by the shaping of the bowl, but also by the narrowing of the shank where it contacts the base of one's thumb. The sandblast is light, but fine, and gives a very pleasing texture, and of course paring a black finish with a silver band never goes out of style.
