About This Pipe
As a case study of Peterson shaping taken to the point just short of being in extremes, you could hardly go wrong with the "XL339". The shank is, at least visually, very near to outweighing the bowl, which has been reduced to something of a high-topped stovepipe, and the transition between the two is simply vast, providing an excellent source of additional canvas for the flame grain seen here.
