Sandblasted Bent Bulldog Tobacco Pipe

While this pipe sports as fine of a grain as a pipe man could ask for; a tight ring grain that runs from heel to bead, and a dizzying birdseye above that bead, the first thing you will notice, when you pick up this pipe, is the bold, innovative shaping. While Brad is not the first to use a compositionally thick, diamond shank, his juxtaposition of shank and bowl is such that the reverse cone of the latter seems to rest on the former. This move is intended to celebrate to distinctly different shapes, while maintaining a compositional unity.. and it succeeds. Intriguing? Oh yes.
