Sandblasted Billiard Tobacco Pipe

Now here's an awesome Billiard. I mean, the proportions on this thing have been so carefully and slightly exaggerated that when I first looked at the piece I could have sworn that something was off kilter just a hair. But as I've sat with the pipe for well over an hour I now feel I have a much greater appreciation for exactly how well balanced the composition actually is. While the stack of the Billiard is a little high for the norm, it measures quite nicely against the length of the shank. And speaking of the shank, because Brad decided to shape it as an oval, rather than round, he's generously lent to the piece an important sense of robustness that the pipe would have otherwise lacked. All in all, this is a really cool looking and surprisingly well balanced pipe that features one heck of a rugged sandblast. Good stuff.
