About This Pipe
Though we always refer to a pattern type as "flame grain", rarely is it so clearly flame-like as on the right flank of this broad-sided Radice bent billiard. Climbing upward from from the birdseye underside and through smoldering 3/4 grain, before leaping upward into a frenetic, fiery vertical grain, the pattern is very dynamic and intense.
