About This Pipe
Though for some the name Radice most immediately calls to mind the round, stout shapes he tends to execute especially well, Luigi is no slouch when it comes to any neoclassical form. This tall, long-stemmed billiard is a fine example of that, presenting a deep chamber within an artfully softened billiard bowl, set on a well-defined transition leading to a slim shank. Combined with the rich black-and-burgundy Rind finish, it makes for an uncomplicated yet unique composition.
