About This Pipe
This elegantly gestural, gracefully shapely bent Billiard could readily be considered the archetype of the Picta Magritte line. This is, of course, due to it being based upon that most famous pipe of all - the one which is not a pipe at all. Though Giancarlo has lightened the stem and shank a bit, and added more taper to the bowl (granted, the original painting was done in the style of an illustration), the essence, flow, and gesture of the original non-pipe is recreated perfectly.
