About This Pipe
Ser Jacopo calls this mount their "Briar Army Mount", and it isn't an oft-seen addition. The Pesaro school of pipe design brought an innovative approach to the shaping of traditional patterns, and the pipe world was never the same thereafter. Many hold that the influence of Pesaro rivaled (some say excelled) the impact of the Danes in the 60's and 70's. Giancarlo Guidi is the founder of the Pesaro pipe tradition and the creator of the beautiful pipe before you. If the delightful, neo-classical handling of the bent egg shape doesn't seal the deal, perhaps the amazing grain will.
