About This Pipe

The Tsuge carvers that are assigned to the Ikebana pipes always seem to show a superior affinity for the egg, acorn, and apple shape, and the "C" grade Ikebana before you would be a good example. While the adroit shaping of the bowl is typical for the company, the composition is not. That delightfully chubby shank is so "over the top" for the normally conservative Ikebana, I believe we are seeing something new here. Darned if it doesn't have me grinning.
