About This Pipe
Poul Winslow produces some extremely bold contrast finishes for his loftier grades, as can be seen clearly enough in this very muscular "D" rendition of the Danish Dublin, which comes off as something like a hybrid between a Danish freehand and an iconic, extra-stout-shanked Peterson design. which just happens to be finished in a combination of light walnut and smoky black, the flame grain absolutely leaping from the briar.
