Blended by Greenfield & Winther in 1946 under the personal supervision of Robinson himself, Edward G. Robinson is said to be smoked not only by ol' Johnny Rocco, but historian Shelby Foote, among others. With an ever so light plum topping, this is predominately a Burley blend, with a generous helping of Cavendish and a light touch of Latakia. Recently this blend has seen a surge in popularity, due in large to the efforts of tobacco reviewer and comic artist Jim Amash.
