Mac Baren's HH Old Dark Flake is hot pressed, meaning that during the pressing, heat is added by steam to the tobaccos which causes the tobacco to intensify the marrying process, ultimately giving us a bolder tobacco. camp much lol). But I enjoy the smokiness and thick smoke. Strongest nic hit for me so far but I have a tolerance and I’m not wimping out. But still noticeable. All in all top 5 blend for me in non-aromatic blends.
I pull straight from the tin and fold and stuff a flake then break a flake up to create a kindling type bit on top. Perfect everytime.
I just ordered 5 more tins to cellar since we won’t be having this blend much longer in the states from what I hear. So I jumped on the wagon and stocked up. I highly recommend whether you’re a new pipe smoker or seasoned and looking to try. DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!!...Read More

Love this stuff. Top of the rotation list every time. Smokey, tasty, stays lit, needs no drying time, no bite, no complaints at all. Always keep a full tin ready to jar. No difference noticeable between the tin and the ready rubbed. Simply delicious!
