About This Pipe
This bent Pot from Wengholt certainly lives up to its "Unique" moniker, presenting with a dynamic profile, subtle forward urge, and extremely craggy rustication. Said rustication provides an enormous amount of texture in the hand and dresses every bit of the stummel save for the nomenclature panel and a trim band of briar at the shank end which are left smooth for contrast. The bowl here features a look that's almost reminiscent of the Scoop shape, mostly due to its favoring the fore wall, creating a kind of upward momentum. The shank is quite trim, and its paneled shape continues through the stem base, with the bit of said stem quite lengthy, taking on a languid arc to the button and showing off its dark yellow acrylic nicely.
