About This Pipe

Belonging to GBD's Unique line, this Rhodesian certainly lives up to its appellation, with a strikingly stylized build and exaggerated proportions that place the focus on the bowl. Said bowl sits sturdily atop a flattened heel and flares out dramatically to a firm ridge before taking on a concave taper to the rim, a shape that's seldom seen among others of the same family. A wide transition leads to a paneled shank that would, were it turned 45 degrees to the left or right, make this a Bulldog but its square shaping still places it within the confines of Rhodesians. This shank tapers consistently through to the stem base, the stem itself a sleek saddle of jet-black vulcanite. This flash of black contrasts nicely with the handsome tanblast that dresses the stummel, one which reveals rippling ring grain throughout the bowl, with growth rings flowing through the stummel.
