One of Italy's finest pipe makers, Claudio Cavicchi has carved pipes for over 40 years and is still going strong. Cavicchi crafts a wide variety of shapes, and each one showcases spectacular grain patterns dressed in his signature smooth and sandblasted finishes. This Dublin by Claudio Cavicchi displays a stunning grain pattern, as flame grain flows to the top of the bowl and erupts into birdseye on the broad rim, all dressed in a blonde smooth finish that is primed for patination. Said bowl also possesses a substantial cant, giving the shape a forward-urging dynamic. Out back, the shank is adorned with two jet-black acrylic bands, which emphasize the stretch of shank between the rings and stem, with this stretch displaying a remarkable amount of swirling birdseye for such a slim surface. The acrylic saddle stem completes the trim look of the shank-and-stem arrangement, and its jet-black color lends the pipe a distinguished touch.
