About This Pipe
The "621" is one of Savinelli's few bent Dublin designs and remains the most deeply bent rendition compared to the "611 KS" or "920 KS." In overall gesture, the "621" shares much in common with the Italian marque's "620" Oom Paul, only trading the upright, straight bowl for that of a flaring Dublin. Perfect for a hands-free smoke, the dramatic angle of the transition and the bent saddle stem provide comfortable balance when clenched.
Designed to promote a dry, cool smoking experience, pipes within Savinelli's Dry System series feature wells inside the shank that extend past the draft hole to catch unwanted condensation. The stems also feature rounded buttons that spread the smoke across the palate for more consistent and balanced flavor. While other makers offer pipes of similar construction, few are engineered to allow filters; however, the Dry System still accommodates Savinelli's 6mm balsa filters. Fitted with a flashy mount, this particular example wears a dark-stained rustication for subtle texture and a traditional presentation.
